What is the dress code?Business attire / business casual is the dress code for this conference, with the exception of the Gala Dinner for which the dress code is black tie.

What transport is available from Belfast to Dublin?After the conference sessions on Thursday 16th May, bus transfers have been organised for attendees as the conference travels from Belfast to Dublin. These busses will drop off at the following locations in Dublin on Thursday evening. Church St, Dublin 7 Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin 2 Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2 By now, registered delegates should have received an email requesting if you need a space on the bus. If you not yet informed us of your need to travel by bus, please contact events@lawlibrary.ie.

Which airport is closest to the venue?The conference begins in Belfast on the evening of 15th May 2024. The closest airport to the venue is Belfast International Airport. The conference concludes in Dublin on the evening of the 17th May 2024. If flying out from Dublin, the closest airport is Dublin Airport. What weather is expected?Weather in May tends to be mild with average highs of 15°C/59°F and lows of 9°C/48°F. Weather can be changeable so having some rain protection is advisable.

What currency do I need to bring?The first part of the conference takes place in Belfast, Northern Ireland before travelling to Dublin, Ireland. Northern Ireland uses Pound Sterling (GBP), while the Republic of Ireland uses Euro (EUR). Cashless transactions are widely accepted across the island of Ireland.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email. Am I registered?All attendees should have received a confirmation email upon registration. If you have not received this, please contact the Events Team at events@lawlibrary.ie, who will check if you are registered and get back to you.

I can no longer attend and wish to transfer my ticket to a colleague. How can I do this?If your colleague is a practising barrister, they can attend. Please forward their full name and email address to the Events Team at events@lawlibrary.ie and a member of the team will reach out to reassign the ticket to them.

I only want to attend one day of the conference. Is this possible?We have recently secured additional capacity at Dublin Castle and are now offering limited day tickets for the Dublin Castle sessions. These day tickets cover the Dublin Castle sessions on 17th May only and do not include the Gala dinner or other aspects of the programme. Day tickets can be purchased here.

Are there luggage storage facilities in Belfast?Yes, there will be a facility to store your luggage in the Titanic Hotel. Please remember, check-out from the Titanic Hotel is 11am.

If my availability changes and I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?Please contact events@lawlibrary.ie to discuss this with the Events team. Cancellations/ refunds are considered on a case by case basis and a strict 100% cancellation charge applies after 5pm (UK / Irish time) on Friday 26 April 2024.
